‘MY SHOP’ BROKEN INTO BY THIEVES IN TUMU

Activities of thieves are increasing by the day despite the observance of ramadan promising forgiveness to muslims as the past three had seen goat stealing at Sorbelle, motorcycle at the Tumu hospital though found and latest being my shop in Tumu.

“MY Shop” one of RadfordFM’s sponsors had her shop broken into by unknown thieves during the lights out last night. When Tumu Radford got to the shop, it was observed the burglars opened the top of the roof with a pair of scissors and forced open the plywood ceiling and jumped into the shop.

The jump, destroyed plastic filled with sugar and other parked items in the shop and others on the shelves According to Madam Ajaratu the shop owner, they made away with over one thousand Ghana cedis and unspecified coins. Tins of milk, don simon and others were taken away. “We locked the shop when the lights went out last night and went home only to return this morning to be told part of the roof had been forced open by thieves “she told RadfordFM. The police had visited the shop earlier and started gathering evidence for investigation. A neighbor told the owner she heard the noise of the activities but taught it was donkeys loitering in the area. A pair of scissors used was left behind with stains of blood.
