The District Chief Executive of the Sissala East District Hon. Karim Nanyua has disclosed the Bujan CHPS zone will soon be roofed for health personnel to continue to provide health care services to the people. Last week, the DCE went round communities to assess the level of destruction caused by heavy rain storms of which the Bujan CHPS and many residential buildings were affected and has left some residents homeless. Karim also disclosed That NADMO is tasked to assess the all the communities that were affected by disaster to see if there could be any support to offer. He however, said he can’t promise the affected persons they would be offer aid at the meantime. Meanwhile, he advised the public, especially farmers to be conscious of disaster prone areas ahead of the rainy season so that they avoid losing property and crops to floods even though one may not avoid them naturally.
