The Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, Hon. Abass Ridwan Dauda has donated a number of office items to the Sissala East District’s Education office. Items he donated included 30 swivel chairs, a multi-purpose canon photocopier machine, an HP printer and two visitors’ chairs. The gesture came on the back of a promise he made to the office after a meeting he had with them some time last year.
Hon Abass Ridwan Dauda whiles speaking at the short ceremony held at the forecourt of the district’s education office noted that a conducive work environment was vital in achieving success at the work place. He hinted that plans are far advanced to work on the office’s distribution pickup which has broken down. He also promised to network the offices to enable them print document from all ends in the office so as to enhance their work efficiency. “Painting works have already began on the district’s education offices” he said and charged the staff to take good care of the items and as well put them into effective use so as to improve the quality of teaching and students’ performance in the district.
Hon Abass Ridwan Dauda also donated 10 visitors seat to the district’s hospital on the background that patients relatives visits them at the hospital but do not have places to sit which is not the best. The head of pharmacy,Mr. Yandanbil Johnson received the donation on behalf of the hospital and assured to use the benches to make the lives of their visitors better. “We know that you know our challenges, others have done their bits and with this your kind gesture, we are hopeful that this year we will have more of these donations so that together we can build the hospital to the status we all want” Mr. Johnson states. He was grateful to the MP for the donations.
