MEMBERS OF A WATCHDOG COMMITTEE WANT TRUST FROM POLICE

Members of the newly inaugurated security watchdog committee in the Sissala East District have assured to commit themselves in assisting the Police fight crime but demands ultimate trust from the Police .
In an interview after the inauguration some told Radford News they had wanted this opportunity to be able to combat crime at the various communities but were afraid not to fall ignorant to the law. However, despite the empowerment, they said trust from the police is key to inspire them do their job or else there stands to fail to in dealing with many crimes in the area. “We do not want to arrest a criminal or report crime and the police will betray us to the suspect, it will create animosity for us at the community they urged demanding undiluted outmost trust.
Meanwhile some have acknowledged the importance of teaming up with the Police to ensure there is enough security provided to their families and citizens in the District at large.
