REPAIR OF A BROKEN BRIDGE BEYOND ASSEMBLY’S CAPACITY- DCE FOR SISSALA WEST

Repairs of a long overdue broken bridge in between Jeffisi and Gwollu in the Sissala West District has become beyond the capacity of the Assembly and has become difficult to fix, the DCE of the area Hon. Mohammed Bakor told Radford FM on Masie Breakfast Show. He said that “the amount of money needed to restore the bridge is above the assembly’s threshold since they cannot by any means repair the bridge due to unavailable o funds”, He assured however that Feeder roads is aware of the situation of the bridge.
To fix the bridge it may cost the Sissala West Assembly close to GH500,000.00 the DCE stated and expressed that the situation of the bridge is not good at all and affects vehicular traffic to the area especially when it begins to rain. He said all efforts to maintain the bridge have seen no success and pleads on his constituents to be patient with the Assembly since they have noted the several complaints from residents.
