BASIC SCHOOL SPORTS AT THE CIRCUIT LEVELS ENDS IN TUMU WEST THIS WEEK

Basic school sporting activities at the circuit levels in the Sissala East Municipal are ending this week as Tumu West circuit goes in for the last set of inter schools competitions hosted by T.I Ahmadia Basic school. 8 school are taking part in the Tumu West games, Kowie Basic , Kong A and B, T.I Ahmadia, Falahia Basic, United primary, St’ Gabriel and Lilixia.
Participants are competing in football, hand ball and valley ball as well as athletics but netball is missing the GES Sports coordinator Mr.Tahiru Gingaru told Radford News. he however said private schools in the municipal drugs their feet in a sense that they don’t always take part in the sporting activities and authorities have taken it as such but needs a resolution since these activities are part of the curricula. Meanwhile, hockey has just been introduced but without necessary kits to play with The sports coordinator reveals. At the initial of the circuit level inter Basic school competitions Nabulo emerged first in their circuit games, Nabugubelle in Bujan Circuit and the remaining including Tumu West will be disclosed later. Inter circuit games will also take place on the 13th to 23rd May at Nabulo when schools resumed next term Mr. Tahiru disclosed to RadforFM.
