The headmaster of Kanton Secondary School Mr. Raymond Baku has said it should be evicted from people’s minds that the Gold Track students are more brilliant as compared to their counterparts in the Green Track who are back home.
This he illuminated that, the systems are adopted to reduce congestion at the secondary schools due to inadequate amenities, to give access to more enrollment at Senior High Schools and also to eradicate the situation that, people complete JHS and are unable to enter SHS because of overcrowding.
Mr. Baku speaking on the Radford FM Maise Breakfast Show Wednesday morning also emphasized that, the green track students at home should learn very hard and forget what people say the gold track students are more intelligent than them. He also advised the gold track students to continue to take the bull by its horn as they are going back home to stay for the next forty-one (41) days.
Meanwhile, the headmaster mentioned that the postponement made for the green track students to report on 10th instead of 8th is as a result of some arrangements which were not met, this he continued that, the first calendar for the tracks thus the gold track and the green track was not authentic however the final and the authentic calendar has been released which states that students should either report on the 10th of this month instead of the 8th according to the deputy director of GES Dr. Andoh, he expressed.
