We must admit however that, Zomilion faces challenges in the management of environmental sanitation, especially in the collection and disposal of solid waste. Our streets continue to be covered with litter on the account of inadequate bins and citizen’s negative attitude, according to him besides, bins get filled up but are not evacuated for days. An animal like donkeys and pigs sometimes dislodge the bins and create a mess in the environment, this situation occurs when the refuse trucks persistently suffer breakdown.
Hon Karim Nanyua however mentioned that, they held various interactive meetings with Zomilion and urged them to work assiduously to improve the quality of service delivery in the municipality subsequently.
