The Municipal Health Director of Sissala East, Mr. Alex Bapula has said the delay in commissioning two CHIPs compounds at Challu and Kasana communities is because of yet to be arrived logistics and ancillaries.
He however said the partnership support and funding are on the way, and has assured that in two weeks time the facilities would be ready for use. He described as unethical to open the CHIPs compounds for use without the necessary equipment to work with.
The health director therefore entreated the two communities to still exercise patience with them as he expresses optimism that everything is in the pipeline. He added that there are plans to upgrade, especially the Challu CHIPs zone into a health center.
