Ghana health service embarked on monitoring of staff at health facilities in Tumu to assess and review their activities and challenges for redress to improve health care delivery.
This offers them to ascertain the impact of the services they provide clients with the Director of the health service Mr. Alex Bapula explained. He said the monitoring helped the service to identify some staffs who have challenges with documentation and reminds them to provide training for such fellows.
They also came across some staff who have difficulties in calculating vaccines administered to children and making estimations for logistics such as drugs for their facilities. This exercises shall be extended to other facilities in the municipality but unannounced he noted.
