Alhaji Amidu Sulemana yet to blow cover over bid to contest NDC primaries

Former Member of Parliament for Sissala West and minister of Roads and Highways under John Mahama led government, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana has failed to disclose ambition to contest this year’s NDC primaries during an interview on Radford Masie Breakfast Show today, jUly 11, 2019.
Responding to whether he has plans to pick a nomination form or not, he casually told Mr. Mohammed Balu Salia to keep on waiting to see the final list of candidates by the close of Friday, July 12.
Meanwhile, Sissala West NDC communications officer Mr. Fuseini Gbene said NDC primary nominations forms are currently available between July 10 and July 12, 2019 for interested persons.
He said in line with guidelines from NDC National Executives Committee, a nomination form goes for non-refundable fee of 2,000 GHS, while filling fees of nominations for males is pegged at 25,000 GHS and 125,000 GHS for females.
He has revealed that, as of yesterday, July 10, Mr. Mumuni Hakim Duwie Juah from Gwollu and Madam Mary Hagbana Nankpa have so far picked nomination forms.
He also admonished that all forms picked or yet to be picked have to be filled before July 15 deadline.
